Bill Eustace

Chief Executive Officer

Bill is the Chief Executive Officer of Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. (HPE). Bill brings a unique skill set to HPE, having come from the food industry at Leprino Foods in 1994 with a background in engineering and construction. His experience at Leprino included managing the day-to-day operations of a $750M division.

Throughout his nearly 21 years at HPE, Bill has been able to serve the clients well as a project engineer and project manager before moving up to become the Vice President of Business Development. Bill and Kelly purchased the company in 2004 and he moved into his current role as President and CEO. Bill focuses on leading HPE in long-term planning and overall strategy, in addition to guiding the team through the process of finishing projects on time and on budget.

Bill was born in Wyoming and grew up in Colorado. He earned his BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming. He is actively involved in the Sheet Metal Air Conditioning National Association (SMACNA) as a member of the Executive Board and a labor panelist. Bill is currently serving as Vice President with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association in Colorado, and is a member of Vistage International. Bill and his wife Kelly have two children and multiple dogs & cats. He is a true Colorado Outdoorsman who loves bird hunting in the flatlands of eastern Colorado, cycling with his son, and snow skiing at home and abroad – tackling some of the toughest peaks in the world.

Kelly Eustace

President

Kelly Eustace is the President of Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. (HPE). She has grown up with HPE and has been around the company most of her life. As President of HPE, Kelly is dedicated to HPE's brand promise of 'Honest Performance Everyday.' She takes that commitment very seriously.

Kelly provides continuous leadership and management to ensure HPE has the proper operational controls in place to guarantee success. Her primary focus is on HPE’s operational teams. Providing career development opportunities for all employees is a high priority for Kelly; she works closely with her talent management team and HPE’s Apprenticeship programs to create a company culture where individuals want to work and move ahead.

Kelly grew up in Colorado and earned a BSBA in Finance & Marketing from the University of Denver. Kelly is active in her son’s Boy Scout troop, serving as the Advancement Chair for three years and the Life Scout Advisor for the last two years. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Fountain Valley School of Colorado and is a member of the Denver Chapter of the National Association for Women in Construction. In recent years, the Colorado Springs Business Journal selected Kelly as one of Colorado Springs' 'Women of Influence. Kelly enjoys hiking, skiing and snowshoeing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Kelly and Bill have been married for 20 years and have two children.

Rodney Bellendir

Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Rodney Bellendir oversees all financial, accounting, human resources, information technology, and risk management functions for HPE, Inc. Rodney is a strategic thinker and leader; he manages many high level tasks and has contributed to taking HPE, Inc. to the next level in the specialty contracting industry in Colorado.

Prior to working for Timken Motor & Cranes Services LLC & Wazee Companies LLC, Bellendir was the Director of Asset Management for Renewable Energy Systems Americas, Inc. in Broomfield for four years. Prior to that, he spent 15 years with Colorado Energy Management in Lafayette, Colorado, where he served as CFO and Vice President of Finance.

Bellendir has an MBA from Regis University in Denver and a BS in Accounting from University of Northern Colorado.

Bellendir was involved in several youth sports organizations as a board member and coach as his four children were growing up in Broomfield, CO.  He currently sits on the Board for Mile High Behavioral Health and assists on the finance committee. He is a member of the AICPA, Colorado Society of CPAs and is a member of several finance organizations.

Although an admitted workaholic, Bellendir enjoys time with his family, golfing, and traveling with his wife.

Tracy Dorman

VP of Business Development

Tracy Dorman is the Vice President of Business Development at Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. He comes from a long line of men who have worked in the industry; three generations in his family along with Tracy’s brother are all licensed journeyman carpenters. His formal training includes a BA from California State University where he studied communications and construction management engineering. Tracy holds several certifications and licenses that qualify him as a preconstruction manager, project manager, inspector, and estimator.

Tracy got his start in the industry working at the ground level in a sheet metal shop. He was able to work his way up through various positions both in the field and in the office. He’s learned from hands-on experience and from skilled mentors how to estimate and manage large and complex projects throughout the mechanical and construction industry. Before joining the HPE team, Tracy owned a construction management and owner’s representative firm with his father. Tracy’s background has perfectly prepared him for what he does for HPE today; as a vice president, Tracy is an integral part of the executive leadership team. Tracy is responsible for the oversight and leadership of all business development, marketing, and preconstruction activities. He also oversees the estimating functions for HPE.

In addition to his duties at HPE, Tracy is also on the Board of the Design Build Institute of America, Rocky Mountain Region, and the President of Canyon Creek Condominium Homeowners Association. When he’s not helping to lead the team at HPE, Tracy enjoys coaching youth soccer (where he earned the second highest soccer coaching certification available in the U.S.). Tracy also enjoys golf, wake surfing, wake boarding, boating, and camping with his fiancé and their four daughters. He also has two dogs that he claims are just like children -- Lily (Goldendoodle) and Calla (Labradoodle).

Mark Shadle

VP of Operations

Mark Shadle is the Vice President of Operations at Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. He joined HPE as a full-time employee in 2014 after spending seven years as their business consultant. During that time, Mark worked with all the HPE teams, helping the company align their business units and making sure everything they did, from the systems to the processes, staff hiring to training, and even the business culture aligned with HPE’s strategy to be the premier mechanical contractor in the Rocky Mountains.

Mark has been instrumental in leading and aligning construction teams for the Field Operations, Contract Administration, CAD, Fabrication, Procurement, Start Up and Warranty departments. Construction’s goal is to help our clients drive projects to completion with professional planning and quality installation, and Mark is a strategic leader and problem solver to that end, keeping the company moving forward, energized, enabled, and empowered.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Mark may be from Iowa, but he’s a true Coloradan at heart. He loves to spend time in the outdoors with his family skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, motorcycling, nd mountain biking, camping, and hiking. Mark is married to Michelle and they have two children, Cameron and Sydney.

Grant Willemarck

Service Operations Manager

Grant Willemarck is the Service Division Manager at Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. Grant has more than 16 years of experience in the industry and has been with HPE for 11 years. He began as a service salesman before being promoted to the service manager for all of Colorado Springs, in 2009. 

In 2012, Grant answered the call to become the Service Operations Manager responsible for all of HPE’s service operations in Denver and Colorado Springs. To Grant, service is more than just a word in his title — it is central to his mission at HPE. Grant oversees all commercial service, repair, add-on/replacement, controls, energy work, and residential service in Colorado Springs. Grant is an effective teambuilder with a successful track record of building strong cohesive service teams at HPE. He’s a passionate coach, committed to helping each of his team members achieve their optimum potential.

In addition to driving HPE’s Commercial Service Divisions in Denver and Colorado Springs, Grant’s focus is to ensure that HPE’s residential service division fulfills its goal to provide the top sales & service in the Colorado Springs region, the foundation of HPE originating back to 1947. When he’s asked why he’s at HPE, Grant’s answer is simple: “I’m at HPE because of the culture and the team environment we have here. HPE has helped me grow, not only as a person, but also as a leader through training and development.” 

When Grant is not serving the customers of HPE, he enjoys traveling with his family. He’s a rabid football fan who also loves to play golf and ride his mountain bike on the trails throughout the backcountry of Colorado. Grant and his wife, Katie, have been married for 13 years and have a four-year-old daughter.
