Kaiser Permanente Rock Creek Medical Facility is a renovation to the lower level of a medical office building.  Adding 2 MRI units, a CT scanning room, radiology lab, ultrasound and mammography area and several patient recovery areas.  2 roof top cooling towers were added to the structure.

Several additions to the mechanical room to accommodate the new medical equipment.  For example, a new chiller was added, as well as plate and frame heat exchanger.  As was a 4 pump air separator for the cooling system.  All of the associated piping for the system was run from the equipment in the mechanical room throughout the renovation. 3 computer room air conditioners units were installed to accommodate the 2 MRI units and the CT scanning equipment. 38 VAV’s along with all of the associated piping and ductwork for the renovation. The project included the addition of medical gas piping in the CT scanning area as well as several of the patient recovery rooms and examination areas.
