The major scope for this elementary school renovation included the addition of an air-cooled chiller and the associated chilled water piping throughout the facility. All existing heating-only unit ventilators in the facility were replaced with four-pipe units (26 units in total); HPE also replaced several AHU’s, RTU’s, condensing units, and pump systems. A make-up air and hood system was replaced, all fixtures throughout the facility were replaced, and  new bathroom areas and fixtures were added. The biggest challenges HPE had to overcome in order to hit the aggressive schedule deadline involved the physical space constraints within the tunnels where we had to install hundreds of feet of mechanical piping
