Congratulations to #TeamHPE's HUB RiNo Sheet Metal team for being named our February, 2019 Crew of the Month!
This project with Mortenson Construction (GC), completed late last year, was a 275,000 sq. ft. mixed-use, transit-oriented office development in the heart of Denver's River North Art District.
According to Gary Leak, HPE Safety & Risk Manager, during the completion of the project, this team was tasked to make a correction to the duct installation associated with the life safety exhaust system. The team had to remove the existing installed exhaust ductwork located in a chase spanning six floors and then reinstall a redesigned system. All of this was done under a very tight schedule with an extreme logistical challenge of removing the existing life safety exhaust system, fabricating the replacement duct system, and coordinating the installation of a new designed duct system with four other contractors involved in the work.
The remarkable efforts of the HPE's team through precise coordination and collaboration during reconstruction with all participating project members is why this team was so successful and has been chosen as our February, 2019 Crew of the Month!
