Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. was founded on February 21st, 1947 -- but the history behind the business goes back quite a bit further.
PHOTO #4: Kelly Eustace's grandfather, Richard Glen (RG) Steward had a brother, Doug Steward; this is a photo of Doug that Kelly had never seen until her uncle recently sent it to her. Notice the tagline, 'Fishing for Comfort' -- which ties well with HPE's existing mission: 'We Build and Maintain Systems that Provide Comfort for Life.' Even in Rocky Ford, Steward Sheet Metal Works sold Lennox equipment.
