The Advantages of Working with Us

    Vision

To be the premier mechanical contractor in the Rocky Mountain Region through innovation, focusing on customer and employee needs, and by promoting a culture that creates perpetual evolution.

    Mission Statement

Heating & Plumbing Engineers, Inc. is a professionally managed family business that is the preferred choice in the Rocky Mountain Region for mechanical contracting and service. HPE’s reliability and quality comes from our employee’s collaborative stewardship and innovation which secures our long-term sustainability and employee quality of life.

    Values

One team, pride and quality, professionalism, stewardship, balance, and fairness.

    Experience

While our goal at HPE is to stay current and ready for the changing fields that we serve, we find equal importance in searching out employees with experience that can live up to the reputation that HPE has. That reputation stands on experiences and time tested methods. Similarly, we have a strong base of employees that have a keen understanding of their scope of work. In addition, instruction for your newer employees is paramount so that each generation can continue this trend.

    Multiple Discipline

As a project’s workload grows more and more consolidated, so does the efficiency. Not only does it cut down on time spent with communication, but the various trades have a stronger unity in their vision. This is why HPE stems out into multiple aspects of the mechanical trades with departments in sheet metal, HVAC, plumbing, piping, refrigeration, service, and more. It is important to note that with these services “in-house”, double tier mark-up on subcontracts is reduced to a minimum.

Each trade works as a solid body under the company umbrella. Not any one of these trades takes a backseat to or is considered a supplement to another trade. This creates an atmosphere of equality, cooperation, and cohesion.

    Market Awareness

Comparing the time frame for a standard project from two decades ago to today, it is easy to see that the economy’s perception has changed in regard to how quickly construction should happen. Responsibility for coordination is becoming an asset more pointed to the contractor than the design firm. And, clearly, the world is being revolutionized by computers.

After dealing with a few construction projects, one will usually find that contractors are not commonly open to the uses of computers and software.
We are. We have worked very hard to get to the point where we are today, and we are not complacent with this either. It is our goal to use any and all new tools we can to stay ahead of the technological curve. It is our goal to be the trend setters and to keep the rest of the pack trying to catch up to our contemporary knowledge.
